6- Magic Crystal: These rare items boost the holding unit's magic attack damage by 50%. Unfortunately, they are much like glass, and they must float around the unit when being used, so they are easily stolen or broken.
Sorcerer Cloak: A cloak with great black feathers lining the cape and collar. This cloak grants resistance to light, dark, magic, and psychic type damage. However, it is susceptible to ware. Grants 200 base defense.
Vallite Sorcery-Magic Barrier: Works as a shield. This shield is also boosted by magic stat and item boosts. Offers 50 base defense. This barrier does not defend against dark damage. However, it grants resistance to sacred weapons.
Abilities:
Strategist: This unit may choose a first level ability held by an enemy unit within 5 spaces. This ability will then be removed until the end of the battle, or until the unit using strategist is defeated. Strategist cannot block strategist. This ability may be used once per enemy. Costs: 4 pg
Thoron: Grants the tome Thoron. This tome has a 20% chance to flinch the enemy. Lighting/Magic type damage. Base might 90. Cost: 3 pg
Fimblrvert: Grants the tome Fimblrvert. This tome has a 10% chance to freeze enemies. Ice/Magic type damage. 1-2 range. Base might 90. Costs: 3 pg
Elwind: Grants the tome Elwind. This tome deals double damage to winged flying characters. Wind/Magic type damage. Base might 90. Costs: 3 pg
Ragnarok: Grants the tome Ragnarok. This tome deals heavy armor damage and has a 30% chance to give enemies the burning status. Fire/Magic type damage. Base might 100. Costs: 4 pg
Nosferatu: -10 hit. Grants the tome Nosferatu. May only be used once per turn. Can be equipped for counterattacking. Dark/Magic absorbing attack. 1-2 range. This attack will heal this character half the amount of damage it deals to the foe. Base might 80. Costs: 5 pg
Vengeance: At the beginning of any counter-attack this unit initiates, there is a 50% chance for this skill to activate. If it does, add 30% of the character’s currently lost HP to raw attack damage. This extra damage may be blocked, dodged, and defended against just like a regular attack. This ability may be used on every standard attack. This attack will fail against certain very pacifistic characters. Costs 4 pg
Savage Elements: Alchemist and Sorcer exclusive ability. When this unit attacks an enemy with an element based attack, regardless of whether or not they hit their foe, the enemy units standing within two spaces of the foe attacked will lose take 25% of the total damage of the attack as unblockable, undodgeable damage. This abiltiy triggers even on specialized, activatable attacks. Costs: 4 pg
Empower: This unit may take a turn to empower all ally units within 3 spaces of it. This will boost those character's total attack damage by 50% for the remainder of the turn. Costs: 4 pg
Expose: Instead of attacking, this unit may choose one adjacent enemy. This enemy will have all its innate and item generated resistances and immunities removed for the next 4 turns. This will not remove resistances and immunities that are the result of abilities; those must be removed by Strategist. Costs: 5 pg
Vallite Stealth: This character may become invisible on the world map. They cannot be detected unless the enemy has some sort of sense-enhancing special ability. They will be revealed when they attack, but only for one turn. They may retreat, and become invisible again. Stealth also adds 15+ to their percent chance to dodge. This ability cannot activate in Valla. Cost: 3 pg
