Deadlight Core: An item that is more of a living thing. Absolutely beyond comprehension, this object is a pure manifestation of cruelty, chaos, and terror. It could potentially be stolen if IT were to fall in battle, but the Deadlights are unpredictable and immensely difficult to control. This item will double the range and effect of fear type statuses and abilities. Having this item unlocks all fear type abilities in the universe, regardless of whether or not they are signature. Some believe this item to be the Legendary Fear Gem.

Shapeshift: This unit may take a turn to take on the appearance of someone else. When in that character's form, they gain that character's movement type, along with their resistances and weaknesses. However, shape-shifting cannot remove the innate weakness of the character using this ability. Costs: 5 pg
Absolute Terror: Headless ability. This character generates a hideous aura, so unnatural that it can actually stop the heart of any character who engages with them. If a character attacks or is attacked by this character, they will build this mortal terror by 20%. If they start a turn next to this foe, they will build this terror by 10%. If this terror builds to 100%, the character will immediately lose 50% of their HP and have their max HP reduced by 10% for the next three turns. This HP reduction can stack. This ability may only trigger in a character once per phase. If a character spends a turn without engaging a Headless, they will reduce their terror build by 20%. This build-up can stack if multiple headless are nearby at once. This ability cannot be removed by strategist. Some characters are immune to this status. Costs: 8 pg
Terrifying Presence: Fear type ability. Enemies within 2 (4) spaces of this unit receive -30 (60) avoid. Costs: 4 pg
Unconquerable Fear: The Fear-type abilities of this cannot be resisted. There is no immunity to them. Costs: 3 pg
Devour: This character may take a turn to eat fallen enemies, regaining around 30% of its HP by doing so. You must have just killed the enemy: Costs 1 pg
Sickening Roar: This character can unleash a horrible roar. Any characters within two spaces of this enemy will immediately have their total defense cut in half for the next three turns. Costs: 3 pg
Spook: Fear type ability. 1-3 (6) range. Instead of attacking, this unit may attempt to frighten the enemy. If this works, the enemy units will immediately be forced to move as far away from this character as they possibly can. The chance of this ability succeeding lessons each time it is used. Costs: 4 pg

Lord of Fear: Signature ability. This ability may not be removed by strategist. If this character does not attack on a turn, the entire map will feel the malefic build of Sauron's power. This will cause all enemy units on the map to receive -30 (60) hit and -30 (60) avoid. If this character does not attack, all enemy units who approach this character will have their movement ended within three spaces of it, similar to Heart-Stopping Aura. Costs: 7 pg
Dismember (II): On every biting attack this character executes, it has a 40% chance to rip a limb off the enemy. This ability stacks with traumatizing blows, but if this ability activates it will also result in a bleeding status, regardless of whether or not traumatizing blows lands. Costs: 6 pg
What You Fear Most: IT's signature ability. Fear type ability. If an enemy unit approaches IT, the enemy will be gripped by an unshakable feeling of horror. This ability will cause any enemy that attempts to move within 3 (6) spaces of this character to have their movement completely halted upon coming within range. Unless IT attacks the enemy specifically, they will not be able to overcome this feeling. However, if IT attacks a character, adjacent allies may break through this fearful paralysis. This ability will trigger multiple times, making it nearly impossible to initiate combat with this character. Costs: 8 pg
Feed On Fear: If this unit triggers a fear status on a foe that is within 3 (6) range, it will heal 10% of its total HP either immediately or at the start of the next phase. Costs: 3 pg
Terrifying Stare: Fear type move. Instead of attacking, this character may choose an enemy directly in front of them. The character then gazes into them with a terrifying stare. This drops the enemy's speed 10 (20) for three turns. This affects of this move cannot be compiled. Costs: 2 pg
Character Type: Status, Fear, Stealth, Psychic
Weakness: Despite the horrifying presence of this character, it despises when its prey fights back. As such, if a character can brave its way through the plethora of nightmarish abilities and forms this character takes, they may be able to genuinely damage IT. Thus, IT has a weakness to any physical attacks landed at 1-range that are not counter-attacks. Immune to strategist. Immune to fear abilities. Immune to mind-control and mind entering abilities. Resists psychic. This character has a nasty tendency to vanish absolutely if, in a rare instance, it feels cornered.
