Items:
Xade's Casual Clothes: Quirky clothes fit more for a hipster than for a warrior. However, this outfit is secretly designed to offer modest defense to Xade. It has modest resistance to wear, and it offers resistance to bullet, blade, and radiation type damage. Grants 150 defense.
Xade's Glasses: Glasses that are completely unnecessary for the Scalecloak, but are worn out of style. Given to him by his nephew, they hold great emotional meaning. If Xade takes these off, be prepared to a fight to the grisly end. This item will take a turn to remove, but doing this will add +15 skill to this character.
8-Energy Gems: Boosts energy type damage by 50%. May allow a special type of energy attack once every four days. Can be used to strike an adjacent square with lightning.
8-Twisted Spoon: Boosts any unit's psychic type damage by 50%.
Rain-breaker: This small, delicate-looking piece of silk has been deeply blessed. Whenever a character is being attacked by a foe who will strike at them five or more times, the foe will have the total might of their attacks reduced by 50%. This item is easily lost or stolen.
Temporal Stone: This extremely rare and valuable item makes a unit immune to time stopping or altering abilities.
Abilities:
Scalecloak: This character may shape-shift into a dragon. This is a very bright event, giving off massive energy and heat. Doing this removes any human-sized armor. However, in this form, the total damage and defense of this character is buffed by 50%. The movement of the character is also increased by 3. This form makes mastering emotions harder, meaning the Scalecloak will only be able to use one type of psychic ability per phase. Radiation poisoning prevents this form change. Radiation poisoning will remove the stat buffs granted by this form shift. Costs: 5 pg
Televoltosis: This ability cannot be removed by strategist. This character uses psychic energy to directly manipulate electrons surrounding the target, leading to burst of electrical energy surging from their body. Take the hit fails to protect characters attacked by this move, and most defense is ignored. This attack can be used to attack or to counter. This attack utterly destroys most technological equipment at a staggering rate. This damage will double if the character is using an analysis based ability. This includes Analyze, Strategist, or Cold Calculation. This damage will be reduced by half if the character is confused or distracted. This can be the result of many statuses, including fear. Base 300 lightning/psychic type damage. This attack will damage allies. 1-3 range. Costs: 4 pg
Scalecloak Healing: This dragon is nearly impossible to kill as its wound heal almost instantly. This character will regain 20% of their HP at the beginning of every turn. This healing will not stop unless certain conditions occur. Drowning, suffocation, or radiation poisoning prevent this healing. With this ability, this character may not be killed from full HP for one entire phase during any given battle. Costs 5 pg
Strategist (II): This unit may choose two first level abilities or one second level ability held by an enemy unit within 10 spaces. This ability will then be removed until the end of the battle, or until the unit using strategist is defeated. Strategist cannot block strategist. This ability may be used once per enemy. Costs: 8 pg
Analyze: If this character consistently attacks the same foe, they will slowly boost their base skill stat.
If this character misses an enemy, they will boost their skill stat by 15.
If the character strikes an enemy, they will boost their skill stat by 5
However, these boosts disappear when this unit attacks a different enemy. Analyze boosts may be negated by stat clearing moves or by putting the character to sleep. Costs 4 pg
Volt Jump: An extremely difficult form of Televoltosis. Xade has specialized in this type of combat, and as such he is extremely adept at using it. Once every three turns, this character may break their body down to atoms and channel it across a lethal bolt of lightning. This will add 20 to the movement of the character, it will allow them to pass through most foes. Doing so will deal the same damage to a foe as half of a Televoltosis blast. This ability requires the character to be 5M Psychic and 5M Energy. This ability may only pass through a foe once, but can easily target huge groups of foes. Costs: 4 pg
Clever Fighter: This character is careful in battle and warry of his enemy's strengths. This character takes half damage from assault moves, Perfect blows, backstabs, parry reposts, and critical hits. Costs: 6 pg
Calculating Fighter: This character calculates the chances of an enemy's victory. This character reduces the activation rate of activatable skills by 30%. Costs: 6 pg
Lightning Rod: This character is powered by lightning. Being struck by an electrical attack or starting a turn in electrical terrain will boost this character's speed by 5 for the next 3 turns. This boost may stack, but will max out at 35. Costs: 5 pg
Jolt: This character may strike themselves or an ally with this extremely light electrical attack. This can be used to charge certain abilities. It will deal only 20 damage, but if a character has consume energy/lighting it will heal them 20%. Costs: 2 pg
Static: This unit's body is covered in electricity. Any enemies who start a turn next to the unit will have a 20% of taking the paralysis status from shock, and any enemy units that strike this character with physical attacks (or short melee attacks) will receive 20 (220) (1100) lightning-type damage immediately. This Paralysis will last for three turns, and it will reduce the speed of the foe by 25. This cannot stack with other shock paralysis abilities like Thunnder Wave. Costs: 6 pg
Weapon-Free: Speed-Class exclusive ability. If this character is fighting with no melee or marksman weapon equipped, they will receive a +10 boost to their base speed. Costs: 2 pg
(TBA) Hyper-Analyze: This character has the calculating ability of a super-computer, and yet they are still organic or an android. This ability adds +5 to the analyze skill buffs. It will also prevent analyze from being broken when this character switches targets. Analyze will build individually for each targetted foe. Costs 4 pg
