Stalking Devout Claws: Massive claws that also function as shields. These can deal either bludgeon or claw type damage. These weapons are also improved by weaponized body. Most importantly, these claws may be placed in a defending position. When in this position, the claws will work as shields and grant defense rather than attack. This will also be boosted by weaponized body. However, as soon as this unit attacks the defensive position cannot be used for defense for the remainder of that phase. The default position of these claws is defensive. Base might/defense 500.
Abilities:
Steady Steps: If this unit uses solely walking type movement (no mounts, flying, hovering, swinging, or teleporting) and has a base speed at 50 of 7 or less, it will boost its total defense by 30%. Costs: 1 pg
Motionless Fortress: Defensive class ability. If this unit does not move on and is not moved by a foe's attacks or abilities, it will double its total defense. However, if it moves it must remain motionless for 2 turns in order to regain this boost. Costs: 3 pg.
Bolster Defense: This character may spend their turn preparing themselves for the next attack of the enemy. This will double their defense during the next enemy phase. This ability may only be used once every other three turns. Costs: 2 pg
Weaponized Body (III): If this unit uses only pure martial or body type attacks, then it will triple the total damage Costs: 8 pg
Critical Hit: Once every day, this unit may attack an adjacent enemy with a critical strike. This attack cannot be dodged, and it totally negates all forms of defense. The strike will give 3 x the normal damage of a strike with the equipped weapon. Costs: 5 pg
Sticky Web: This character must charge one turn. At the beginning of its next turn, each square adjacent to it will be covered in sticky webbing. This will reduce enemy speed by 30 if they stand on this terrain. This terrain will stop you immediately if you step into it. After the initial stop, moving through sticky web costs two movement points. Sticky web can be burned away. Costs: 4 pg
Fury: If this character consistently attacks the same foe, they will slowly boost their base attack stat.
If this character misses an enemy, they will boost their attack stat by 100.
If the character strikes an enemy and cannot damage them, they will boost their attack stat by 60.
If the character strikes at an enemy and harms but does not kill them, they will boost their attack stat by 40.
However, these boosts disappear when this unit attacks a different enemy. Also, when a unit has started the fury process, they will have -15 skill until they end the fury attack. Fury boosts may be negated by stat clearing moves or by putting a furious character to sleep. A furious character may choose to end the fury phase on their own. Costs 5 pg
